Hi, I’m K S Sooraj — a lifelong reader and an evolving writer from Delhi, India.
I believe stories aren’t just consumed — they’re lived.
I created readrush.blog because I wanted a space where the thrill of unforgettable books meets the joy of putting words on the page. Whether I’m lost in a twisty thriller, reflecting on a line that stopped me cold, or trying to craft a sentence that hits just right, I’m always chasing *that rush* — the electric feeling when a story grips you or an idea finally clicks.
How it all started
I was eight years old when books first opened the world to me. Guided by family library visits and early fantasy novels, reading became my way of escaping, understanding, and dreaming bigger. Over the years, I’ve carried that same wonder through hundreds of books — even as phones, notifications, and endless scrolling tried to steal my attention.
Books pulled me back. They still do. They sharpen thought, spark creativity, reduce noise, and quietly build clarity in a world that rarely slows down.
What ReadRush is about
This blog is where those two passions collide:
- Celebrating the power of reading in a distracted age
- Exploring how stories shape us, fuel innovation, and help us think deeper
- Sharing honest reflections, book recommendations, and the small habits that keep the reading flame alive
- Creating a home for curious minds — book lovers, storytellers, dreamers, and anyone who still believes a good page can change everything
I’m not here to lecture or list bestsellers. I’m here to talk about the books that moved me, the ideas that stayed, and the quiet ways reading can become a kind of rebellion against shallow scrolling.
A little more about me
I live in Delhi, read voraciously whenever life allows, and write because I can’t not write. I love bold voices, fresh perspectives, and sentences that feel alive. I’m still learning — both as a reader and as a writer — and I’m excited to grow this space together with anyone who feels the same pull toward stories.
If you’ve ever finished a book and felt changed, or if you’re trying to rebuild a reading habit in the middle of a noisy world — you’re in the right place.
